La sesta tappa del nostro viaggio e' il selvaggio Far West.

It’s hard to believe that in Sardinia you can find the wild west but it’s all true: over the asphalt road we took a little path which drove us in the middle of it.

The red and dry sand, the prickly pears and the cactus around us gave the impression to be in Arizona or Texas; we could also see carcasses of dead cows, like in some western movies. But this is not a coincidence, as our guide Mario explained us.

Considering the resemblance with the typical Arizona landscapes, in the past some scenes have been shot in this area, even some from the movies of the master director Sergio Leone.
During out trip we also saw a little ranch with horses, goats and wild pigs. We just needed a cowboy!  

After few minutes we left the “west” and unfortunately we headed to the starting point of this amazing and exciting excursion.
