The third leg of the tour is the old-age Juniper.

After the Monte Urcatu we headed to one of the bay of Bidderosa, where an ancient creature of this park was waiting for us: the old-age Jupiter of the Parco Oasi di Bidderosa. We parked the quads under the shadow of some pines and we walked to the Jupiter crossing the white dunes of the bay.

The strong and old trunk seemed to be laid on the beach, with its thick roots under the sand looking for water. Mario told us that this Jupiter is almost 300 years old and it’s the protagonist of a romantic legend.

 The story tells that it has the gift to donate the eternal love to those lovers who sit on it: that’s why all the newlyweds of the gulf use to take a picture on the Jupiter as wish of eternal love.

Back on our quads we headed to the next leg: the white beach of Cala Bidderosa and its crystalline sea. Finally we will swim in fresh and transparent waters,
