The second leg of tour is Mount Urcatu.

Back on our quads we drove along the lake of Sa curcurica heading for the foot of the Monte Urcatu, the perfect spot to enjoy the striking view of the Orosei gulf.

We parked our quads there and we went up to the peak of the mountain, close to the ruins of a big Nuraghe, maybe built by the Sardinians as lookout.

We walked close to the Nuraghe where there is a little gazebo that works as viewpoint, the scenery from there was incredible: a deep blue sea and white beaches of the Orosei gulf that embraced it.

On our right we could see the Sa Curcurica lake and on our left the little lake of Bidderosa. The sea breeze brushed our skin and the green of the Mediterranean flora adorned the landscape. An indescribable sensation.

And now let’s go on with the next leg: Il Ginepro secolare !
